What is a bunion?

A bunion is a bump on the side of the big toe.  This may cause “bump pain” and / or pain in the big toe joint and negatively impact overall good foot health in a woman.

What is a hammertoe?

A hammertoe is a bent or contracted toe.  A corn, which is hardened skin, may form on top of the bend.  A podiatric physician can provide relief for hammertoe.

What is an ingrown nail?

An ingrown nail curves into the skin on the side of the toe.  It can negatively impact overall foot health by causing painful irritation or an infection.

What is toenail fungus?

Fungus grows best in warm dark moist places, such as a shoe.  If a toenail becomes infected with fungus, it becomes thick and discolored and can negatively impact toenail and general foot health.
